Meet Brandie 🐾
Hi, I'm Brandie Devlin, the owner and groomer behind The Groom Room Pet Salon!
My love for animals has been a lifelong passion. I've always had a soft spot for animals of all kinds, and my own family is proof of that—I'm a proud pet mom to four dogs and two cats, all of whom are rescues.
Among my pets are a retired research beagle Hippo and an XL, three-legged Great Pyrenees Falkor. Living with them has given me a special appreciation for animals who may be disabled, shy, or simply need a little extra patience and understanding. Their unique personalities and needs have shaped the way I approach grooming and strengthened my belief that every pet deserves to be treated as an individual.
My professional grooming journey began as a certified pet bather, where I spent two years building my foundation in coat care, bathing, handling, and creating positive grooming experiences. I then went to a grooming academy and have spent the past four years developing my skills and growing my passion for the craft.
I'm a 2020 graduate of Rutgers University, where I earned my degree in Environmental Policy. While my education may seem a little different from grooming, my love of animals and the environment has always been at the heart of what I do. Before grooming became my career, I was also a competitive volleyball player throughout high school and college, which taught me the importance of dedication, discipline, teamwork, and always striving to improve.
I'm committed to continuing my education and expanding my knowledge so I can provide the best possible care for every pet who walks through The Groom Room's doors.

I believe grooming should be about more than simply making a pet look good. It's about comfort, safety, trust, and helping every pet feel their very best.
My own pets have taught me that different does not mean difficult. Whether a pet is missing a leg, nervous around new people, uncomfortable with certain aspects of grooming, or just needs a little extra reassurance, I want The Groom Room to be a place where they feel safe, respected, and cared for.

Meet Trish 🐾
Hi, I'm Trish Devlin, one of the friendly faces behind The Groom Room Pet Salon!
Originally from Arizona, my love for animals began at a young age as I grew up working our small farm, riding horses, and running our family dog grooming and Poodle and Pekingese matching business. Love of animals has continued to be an important part of my life. I'm currently a pet mom to Zeppelin, my dog; Faith, my maincoon mix; and Noel, my senior kitty—all of whom are rescues.
My pets have taught me that every animal has their own personality, needs, and unique way of communicating, and I believe those differences are what make them so special, and enrich our lives as pet parents.
I attended Arizona State University, where I earned my bachelor's in psychology, and The University of Phoenix, where I graduated with my Master's degree in Counseling. My professional background has centered around helping and supporting others, including working as a veterans educational, teacher and crisis counselor. Through these experiences, I've developed a deep appreciation for listening, compassion, patience, and making people and animals feel comfortable during times when they may need a little extra support.
I'm excited to bring those same qualities to The Groom Room. As the main point of contact for our clients, I'll be here to welcome you and your pets, help with check-ins and check-outs, answer questions, coordinate appointments, bathing, and make sure every visit runs as smoothly as possible.
I hold certifications in Pet First Aid & CPR, and advanced bathing processes, because the safety, happiness and well-being of the pets entrusted to us, is my focus and priority.
My background in counseling has taught me the importance of patience, communication, and truly listening. I want every client who walks through our doors to feel heard, welcomed, and comfortable asking questions. I have always believed that animals have a remarkable ability to bring people together, and I'm so excited to be part of a business built around caring for them.

A Little More About Me
When I'm not at The Groom Room, I love to travel and explore new places. I've been fortunate enough to visit England, Scotland, Ireland, Jamaica, Guatemala and Canada. Every January, I go on a humanitarian mission, as service is very important to me.
I love spending time with my family and fur babies and look forward to meeting all of you and your unique pets, as we grow our own community and pack, here at The Groom Room.
